Ms. Lacey has been playing piano for 32 years, singing all her life, has studied privately with some of the best piano and voice teachers/professors in the state of Colorado, and has been actively involved in the lives and development of children of all ages for over 2 decades. Lacey's Piano Studio is located off Airport and Mountain View in West Longmont, CO. She is currently accepting mid-day students for homeschooling and/or adult piano lessons.
After receiving a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Colorado State University, she went on to begin her graduate work in music at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Lacey has taught piano and voice lessons in Colorado for 23 years; as well as early childhood group music classes for 13 years with a curriculum she developed after many years of studying child psychology, development, and how music impacts a child's life and brain. Lacey is masterful as an educator. The students in her piano studio and early childhood classes receive an incredible musical education and have FUN! Lacey loves the joy and passion that sparks from a deep connection between music and children. She loves music, loves kids, loves teaching, and is a very warm, enthusiastic person.
In her free time, Lacey enjoys cooking, health and wellness, attending live music and musical theatre, and spending time out in nature with her husband and two little girls.
